Chris is responsible for the oversight of fund administration and financial reporting for Franklin Templeton'[s US & Canadian domiciled funds. He also serves as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer for the Franklin Templeton SEC registered U.S. mutual funds.

Chris joined Franklin Templeton as part of the Legg Mason acquisition in August 2020. He had been at Legg Mason since June 2015 as Head of International Global Fiduciary Platform ("GFP") based in London. He joined Franklin Templeton as Vice President, Global Fund Administration & Reporting ("GFAR") EMEA, also in London, before transferring to lead the GFAR team in North America from 1 January 2022. Whilst at Legg Mason he worked closely with our specialist investment managers, international distribution and all key stakeholders globally to deliver client solutions reliant on the services provided by our outsourced fund administration partners. Along with the delivery of all product, regulatory or client led change projects and the risk-based oversight framework of fund operations. He is an active participant in asset management industry forums and consortiums, working with our peers to develop fund distribution and operations solutions for the future.

Chris previously worked for BNY Mellon Investment Management for 11 years, the affiliate-based asset management business of The Bank of New York Mellon, where he was Director, Business Management & Operations, responsible for the governance & operation of their UK & Irish fund platforms.

Chris holds a BA (Hons) in European Marketing & French from Leeds Metropolitan University.
