Adam Petryk is executive vice president and head of Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for overall strategy and growth for the team. Most recently, he was head of solutions strategy and development for Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions, where he had oversight of digital engagement and investment advice, investment solutions technology, trading and strategic investment services, as well as overall strategy for advisory and wealth, distribution, and communications.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Petryk was the CEO of QS Investors, a quantitative multi asset and equity manager, where he was responsible for all business, strategic and investment decisions. QS Investors combined with Franklin Templeton Multi-Asset Solutions in October 2020 to create Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions.

Previously, Mr. Petryk held executive roles at Legg Mason and its core affiliates for over 20 years. Prior to joining QS Investors in 2014, Mr. Petryk served as chief investment officer at Batterymarch Financial Management, where he was part of the firm's management committee and managed the overall quantitative investment platform including research, portfolio management and technology. Before Batterymarch, he spent eight years at Legg Mason Canada Inc. as chief investment officer, head of the quantitative management team and a quantitative strategist.

Mr. Petryk holds a bachelor of science in computer engineering and a master of science in electrical engineering, both from the University of Waterloo. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
