Alan McCormack, Ph.D., CFA

Alan is Head of Risk and Quantitative Strategies for Putnam Investments. Based in the London office, he joined Putnam in 2006 and has been in the investment industry since 1991.

Previously at Putnam, Alan was a member of the International Core Equity group. Prior to joining Putnam, he served at Citigroup Asset Management as a Managing Director, Head of Global Quantitative Analysis, from 2004 to 2006; Director, Head of Equity Quantitative Analysis, from 2002 to 2004; and Vice President, Quantitative Analyst, from 1993 to 2002. Earlier, he was an Analyst at Morgan Stanley from 1991 to 1993.

Alan earned a Ph.D. and B.S. in Statistics from the University of Glasgow.
