Ameet Rane

Ameet Rane is a Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and Research Analyst for Templeton Global Investments. Mr. Rane is responsible for research coverage of the consumer discretionary and internet sectors.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2022, Mr. Rane worked as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst with a number of hedge funds including Millennium Partners, Balyasny Asset Management, and Sandler Capital Management. He began his career with Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banker. Mr. Rane has 23 years of financial services experience.

Mr. Rane holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
