Anu Sawhney

Anu is the managing director, chief administrative office and head of Business Development for Templeton Global Investments. In this capacity, she is responsible for the business outside of investment activity, the product range and development plans of keeping with current and future client needs and are targeted at the most attractive growth opportunities.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2020, Anu was Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Strategy at Fullerton Fund Management, a Singapore based asset manager, where she served on several company boards. Anu began her career in investment banking with ANZ Bank and has also worked with HSBC and ING in her three decade career in asset management and Investment banking.

She serves as a non-Executive director on the Board of Vertex Technology Acquisition Corporation Ltd.

Anu has a B.A, Commerce and a Master's in Business Economics from University of Delhi and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
