David C. Fischer

Mr. Fischer is a Regional Director, Central Region, for Putnam Retail Management. He leads a team of Regional Consultants who represent Putnam's broad investment solutions and practice management resources to financial advisors throughout the Central Region. Mr. Fischer helps drive producer and sales growth, while educating the team on how best to serve financial advisors and their clients. He joined Putnam in 2011 and has been in the investment industry since 2004.

Previously at Putnam, Mr. Fischer served as a Senior Regional Consultant. Prior to joining Putnam, Mr. Fischer was a Divisional Vice President at SunAmerica Financial Services from 2010 to 2011, a Regional Vice President at Genworth Financial from 2007 to 2010, and a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch from 2004 to 2007.

Mr. Fischer earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan. He holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation.
