David Morgan

David is a Portfolio Manager of Putnam’s Non-U.S. Core Equity and Global Research strategies. In addition, he is an Analyst responsible for fundamental analysis of non-U.S. companies across multiple sectors. As an analyst, he conducts deep sector research, assesses company earnings and stock valuations, and identifies high-conviction investment opportunities. Based in the London office, David first served at Putnam from 2004 to 2017 and rejoined the firm in 2020. He has been in the investment industry since 1995.

Previously at Putnam, David was a dedicated analyst for Putnam’s Non-U.S. Core Equity strategies, covering multiple sectors. Earlier, he served as an Equity Analyst, focusing on the non-U.S. financials sector, and a Portfolio Manager of Putnam's Global Financials strategy. Prior to rejoining Putnam, he was an Equity Analyst and Portfolio Manager for a private investor from 2019 to 2020 and Founding Partner of Veritum Partners from 2017 to 2018. David also served as a Director, Equity Analyst, European Financials at Citigroup Asset Management from 1995 to 2004.

David earned a B.S. from the University of Bristol.
