Eric Webster, CFA

Eric Webster is a portfolio manager and research analyst with Franklin Equity. He serves as co-portfolio manager of the US-registered Franklin Convertible Securities Fund and the Luxembourg-registered Franklin Global Convertible Securities Fund. His equity research responsibilities include analysis of companies in the global travel and housing sectors and include areas such as homebuilding, gaming, lodging and online travel agency industries.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2012 Mr. Webster worked at LitiNomics and Charles River Associates, where he conducted economic damages and valuation analyses for high-profile clients involved in patent infringement, M&A disputes and class-action securities litigation.

Mr. Webster holds a B.S. in Physics and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and an M.B.A. in Analytic Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
