George Molina

George Molina is the head of trading – Templeton Global Investment (TGI), at Franklin Templeton. In this position, he oversees Equity Trading and Execution Management in US., Brazil, Dubai, and the Asia region.

George joined Franklin Templeton Investments in 1997 as an equity trader in the FL and USA office. In 2002, he relocated to Hong Kong where he became head of trading with responsibility for forming Franklin Templeton’s trading desks in Hong Kong, India, Edinburgh, Sao Paulo, Fort Lauderdale and Dubai.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Investments, George traded Asian Securities for Scudder Stevens & Clark in New York City. He is Founder of Asia Trader Forum, a buy-side institutional group of peers where they work on the promotion of best practices in the marketplace. George is the former Co-Chair of FIX Protocol Limited Asia. Mr. Molina has over 25 years of experience in Asset Management and financial services industry.
