John G. Levy, CFA, CAIA

John Levy is a Managing Director at Franklin Real Asset Advisors and a portfolio manager for the firm’s core and value-add social infrastructure strategies. In this role, he is responsible for portfolio management, investment strategy and the ongoing management of the strategies’ investments. Mr. Levy also leads the integration of impact considerations across the Real Asset team’s investment activities. He developed and oversees the team’s impact management framework, which encompasses impact goal-setting, measurement, evaluation and reporting and is integrated throughout the investment process.

Prior to joining Franklin Real Asset Advisors, Mr. Levy was a portfolio manager and director of manager research for Franklin Templeton Multi-Asset Solutions. He joined Franklin Templeton in 2005 and Franklin Real Asset Advisors in 2018.

Mr. Levy holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Bucknell University, where he graduated magna cum laude with honors in economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder.
