Matt Foster is a vice president and senior Retirement Plan strategist for Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas with Franklin Templeton's Retirement & Insurance/Subadvisory Division. He also has responsibilities covering the Home Offices of large DC Specialist Strategic Accounts located on the West Coast. He works with his clients by directing and expanding sales of Franklin Templeton investment strategies, mutual funds, Collective Investment Trusts and custom solutions in employer-sponsored workplace savings plans.

Matt's primary objective is to help more Americans achieve optimal retirement outcomes. He approaches this by offering thought leadership in retirement plan services and investments and working diligently as a key business partner to retirement plan advisory firms, consultants and retirement plan sponsors. His expertise spans qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, Health Savings Accounts, investments, current industry trends and Franklin Templeton products and services. Additionally, Matt provides valuable support to financial intermediaries including personalized Workplace and in-plan retirement income solutions, best practices, business building strategies, market intelligence and regulatory interpretation

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Matt most recently served as a director, Retirement National Accounts with Invesco. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1998 and joined Franklin Templeton Investments in July of 2019.

Matt is a FINRA registered representative and holds the Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Baylor University and currently resides outside of Houston, TX with his wife and 2 children.
