Matthew Harrison

Matthew Harrison is Head of Americas (ex-US), Europe & UK. In this capacity, he jointly develops and executes Franklin Templeton's overall strategy to best serve the firm's clients and drive growth in these regions. Prior to this role, he was Co-head of APAC and responsible for the overall success of the region. Previously, he was the Managing Director of Australia and was responsible for the success of the Australian and New Zealand businesses.

Before joining Franklin Templeton in 2018, Matthew held a number of senior roles within the Wealth Management sector. Most recently he was General Manager of Distribution at Colonial First State. In this capacity, he was accountable for the distribution strategy, customer engagement and overall financial results for the platform, asset management and corporate superannuation business lines. He was also a member of the Executive Committee and Risk Committee.

Matthew has over 25 years of experience in the industry and has worked with clients across Europe, UK, Australia and Asia Pacific. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed a number of global leadership courses including Wharton and INSEAD.
