About Matthew

Matthew is a portfolio manager on the Mid Cap, Mid Cap Growth, and SMID Cap Growth strategies and the Co-Director of Research at ClearBridge Investments.

He joined the firm in 2010 and the investment industry in 2006.

Matthew joined the firm as a portfolio analyst on the Small and Mid Cap Team and became a portfolio manager in 2020. Prior to joining ClearBridge, he was a Private Equity and M&A Advisory associate at MTS Health Partners and an investment banking analyst in the Communications and Media Group at Lehman Brothers.

Matthew received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in economics from Emory University. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society New York.
