Noelle Tune, MD

Noelle is an Analyst focusing on the U.S. health care sector and is responsible for fundamental analysis of companies in the biotechnology industry. She conducts deep sector research, assesses company earnings and stock valuations, and identifies high-conviction investment opportunities. Noelle joined Putnam in 2024 and is based in the Boston office. She served in the investment industry from 1999 to 2008 and rejoined the industry in 2020 after completing her Doctor of Medicine degree and working as an emergency medicine physician at major medical centers in the Boston area.

Prior to joining Putnam, Noelle served as a Director and Analyst at Clough Capital Partners from 2020 to 2024 and was responsible for biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and health care services research. Before attending medical school, she was a Principal and Research Analyst at Neponset Equity Research/Soleil Securities from 2005 to 2008 and a Research Analyst at SVB Leerink from 1999 to 2005.

Noelle earned a Doctor of Medicine degree, with distinction, from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and a B.A. in Russian and Soviet Studies from Harvard University.
