Richard Herbert, CFA

Richard Herbert is the head of Investor Relations for Franklin Venture Partners (FVP), the firm's specialized investment team that invests in private opportunities, focusing on mid- and late-stage companies it believes are poised for transformative impacts across multiple industries.

Prior to joining FVP, Richard was a Vice President and Institutional Portfolio Manager responsible for the Templeton Global Macro Strategies at Franklin Templeton

Mr. Herbert joined Franklin Templeton in 2011 and earned a bachelor's degree in business finance, economics, and statistics from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses.
