Richard Spalton, CFA

Richard Spalton is a portfolio manager and research analyst for Templeton Global Investments. He is Deputy Director of Research for TGI and is responsible for researching Global Energy Stocks,

Richard joined in September 2021 following the integration of the Edinburgh Partners investment team into Templeton Global Investments. He joined Edinburgh Partners in 2016, he was responsible for researching the global Technology and Mining sectors.

Prior to joining Edinburgh Partners, Richard worked at Moneda Asset Management in Chile from 2013 to 2016. He began his career at Fidelity International as an Equity Research Analyst in 2008.

Richard graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2008, with a First-Class Honours degree in Economics. Richard is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
