Robert Gray

Robert is a Portfolio Manager of Putnam's U.S. Focused Equity strategy and an Analyst focusing on the U.S. technology/media/telecommunications sector. He is also a named manager of Putnam U.S. Research Fund. As an analyst, Robert conducts deep sector research, assesses company earnings and stock valuations, and identifies high-conviction investment opportunities. He is responsible for fundamental analysis of companies in the U.S. internet, information technology services, media, and telecommunications industries. Based in the Boston office, Robert joined Putnam in 2018. He served in the investment industry from 2004 to 2008 and rejoined the industry in 2010.

Prior to joining Putnam, Robert was an Analyst at Marble Arch Investments from 2013 to 2018. Previously, he served at Providence Equity Partners as a Vice President from 2012 to 2013, a Senior Associate from 2010 to 2012, and an Associate from 2006 to 2008. Earlier, Robert served as an Analyst, Media and Communications, at Morgan Stanley from 2004 to 2006.

Robert earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Finance and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame.
