Changes to your Franklin Templeton account experience
A new online client account experience was rolled out on May 27 for accounts serviced by Franklin Templeton Investor Services as the transfer agent.
What changed?
New dashboard
With the change to the account experience you will get access to a new dashboard. This is available by clicking on the three bars in the upper left-hand corner.
One time passcode by text message
The new experience will offer One-Time Password (OTP) verification via text, phone call, or authenticator app. This update enhances security and convenience, giving you more options to access your account securely.
What you need to know
If your last login was prior to May 27, 2025, you will need to register to continue accessing your accounts online
- Click Sign In/Register top right and select Franklin Templeton Account. You’ll be taken to a sign in page.
- Click on Register Now.
You will need the following information to register:
• Your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number
• Your account number
• Your ZIP code - Follow the on-screen prompts to continue.

What didn't change
- Access method: Account access will continue to be available through the franklintempleton.com website. To log in, simply click the “Sign In/Register” button on the homepage.
- Product information: All non-account-related information, such as product documents, commentary, marketing materials, tools, etc., will continue to be accessed through franklintempleton.com.
