Joseph L. Russo

Mr. Russo is an Analyst in the Corporate Credit Research group. He is responsible for conducting fundamental analysis, developing insights on material sustainability issues, and assessing valuations of investment-grade and high-yield issuers across a variety of industries. Mr. Russo analyzes each sector's cash flow drivers and each issuer's entire capital structure, ranging from bank loans and secured and unsecured bonds to convertible securities. He is also responsible for making buy/sell recommendations impacting multiple global strategies. Mr. Russo has been in the investment industry since he joined Putnam in 2014.

Previously at Putnam, Mr. Russo was an Investment Associate.

Mr. Russo earned a B.A. from Bowdoin College.
