“With Dubai providing one of the world’s best ecosystems to foster the growth of fintech innovation, the region has become one of the leading hubs for driving value creation in the sector” said Sandeep Singh, Regional Head, CEEMEA at Franklin Templeton.
After a welcome from His Excellency Essa Kazim, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the event opened with a fireside chat featuring Franklin Templeton’s Jenny Johnson. Jenny was interviewed by Dan Murphy of CNBC. The discussion, titled “The Future of Digital Wealth,” focused on the potential of digital wealth, blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Two of the biggest disruptors to any industry are going to be AI and blockchain,” Jenny said. “And, given the inflection point that we are at, any firm that wants to be a winner in the long run has to know how to leverage tools like ChatGPT.
