Eric Abrahamson

Eric Abrahamson is the senior vice president and director of fixed income trading for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Corporate Credit in San Mateo, California, United States. Mr. Abrahamson is responsible for overseeing trader execution, policy/procedures, and trading systems development on fixed income trading desks located in the U.S. and international regions. He also oversees fixed income trade execution for the high yield, high grade, international bonds, leverage loans, mortgages, and foreign exchange trading sectors.

Mr. Abrahamson has over 36 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a member of Counterparty Credit Committee, is a Fixed Income representative on the Business Unit Program Oversight Committee (BUPOC), and a Fixed Income Global Trading Oversight Committee lead (GTOC).

Prior to his current role, Mr. Abrahamson was a specialist at Pacific Coast Stock Exchange. He joined Franklin Templeton in 1999 as a high yield trader.

Mr. Abrahamson holds a bachelor of arts in business economics from University of California at Santa Barbara.
