Frederick G. Fromm, CFA

Frederick Fromm is a senior vice president, portfolio manager and research analyst with Franklin Equity. Mr. Fromm is the lead portfolio manager of Franklin Natural Resources Fund and specializes in equity research analysis of the integrated oil and oilfield services industries. He is also a member of the portfolio management team for Franklin Gold and Precious Metals Fund.

In addition to his current responsibilities, Mr. Fromm has extensive experience as an analyst covering the building materials, engineering and construction, environmental services and electrical equipment industries. Mr. Fromm has also served as a portfolio manager of Franklin Income Fund, Franklin Income Securities Fund and the FTIF Franklin Income Fund.

Mr. Fromm joined Franklin Templeton as a management trainee in 1992 after earning his B.A. in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the Securities Analysts of San Francisco (SASF).
