Michael D. Mahoney

Michael Mahoney is senior vice president, divisional sales manager for U.S. Advisory Services. His primary responsibilities include coaching and supervising 13 senior advisor consultants in the southwestern and upper midwestern United States, while directing and expanding the sale of mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, retirement plans, and insurance products.

Mr. Mahoney joined Franklin Templeton in 1993 as a mid-western wholesaler and is a three-time recipient of the company's "Wholesaler of the Year" award. He served as a divisional sales manager from 2005 to 2010 and was head of internal and digital sales from 2011 to 2019. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Mr. Mahoney holds both the Certified Investments Management Analyst (CIMA) and the Retirement Management Advisor (RMA) designations from the Investments and Wealth Institute. He holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University and an M.B.A from Pepperdine University.
