Lutz Morjan, CFA

Lutz Morjan is the senior client portfolio manager, Europe, for Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. He is responsible for engineering, managing, and monitoring multi-asset investment portfolios for institutional clients. His expertise includes the development and management of multi-alternative portfolios.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2017, Mr. Morjan worked at the Dutch insurer, NN Group, as head of insurance solutions. In this role he specialized in constructing and managing investment portfolios to achieve balance sheet optimisation under the European insurance regulation, Solvency II. Prior to this, he was responsible for pension asset management at ODDO BHF, a private bank. Mr. Morjan began his career in pension and insurance consulting at Willis Towers Watson.

Mr. Morjan holds a business administration (honors) degree from the Friedrich-Schiller-University, Jena and an Executive MBA at Columbia and London Business Schools with honors. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and successfully participated in the Private Markets Investment Program of the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
